The Lease Finance Department provides leasing solutions in the UK and USA and some European locations. BLME provides both operating lease (Ijara) and finance lease (Ijara Wa-Iktina) products to its customers.

We specialise in leasing equipment to high quality corporate clients. Our leasing team is comprised of professionals with over 20 years of Islamic finance experience. This detailed industry knowledge helps us provide a superior service to our clients.

The team has completed more than £200 million of transactions to date, including the leasing of a fleet of tractors and trailers to a large food retailer in the US; a pool of rail equipment to a national US railroad company; warehouse-picking equipment to Ocado in the UK; and surface mining equipment to a large UK mining company.
