Adrian Gayler

Head of Private Banking

Adrian Gayler, joined BLME in January 2009 as Head of Private Banking. Prior to this, Adrian was at Merrill Lynch International Banking Limited, where he was Vice President, Global Wealth Management, responsible for the delivery of innovative wealth management solutions and tailored service to Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and Institutions in the Middle East, Europe and the UK. He has also spent time in Abu Dhabi where he worked for ADIA where he was responsible for the implementation and execution of significant improvements to business processes and technology platforms with the overall aim of achieving superior returns on the Assets under Management. During his career, he has also been mandated by Bulgarian Ministry of Finance to create financial solutions to realise immediate value on approximately US$2 billion of sovereign debt holdings with the Republic of Iraq. Adrian led a world-class team of international financiers, lobbyists, and emerging market specialists to structure creative solutions for the Ministry.

Muriel Simon

Muriel Simon joined BLME Private Banking from UBS London, she is a Private Banker with a strong focus on UK resident non-domiciled HNW clients, advising on Investments, Credit and Wealth structuring solutions. Her previous experience includes Barclays Wealth, looking after International HNW clients and JPMorgan Investment Bank, dealing with French Institutions providing FX derivatives structures.

Fazal Ahmed

Fazal Ahmed joined from Bank of Ireland Property Finance, with a strong focus on structuring real estate debt solutions for Large corporates & HNW clients, specialising in the European real estate market. His previous experience includes working for RBS and Lloyds TSB in managing a diverse international client base. Fazal, has been involved in structuring various Sharia’s compliant services during the course of his career.
